An experiment

The doggies have been behaving pretty well, so we thought we'd try an experiment last night. We brought the nice, new doggie beds I bought for them on Valentine's day that they love so much into our bedroom, closed the door and left the cage open. Anna slowly crept from the cage, found her bed, curled up contentedly and went to sleep. The experiment was aborted after the fourth time Lizzy leapt onto the bed, scambled over me and tried to settle in between Jason and I at about knee level. Apparently the "no dogs on the bed" rule hasn't really sunk in with her yet.

I'm also sick. Sore throat, sneezing, and I am a snot machine. Have been for a few days now. Probably picked it up from the guy I got a ride to the event on the weekend with. I just hope I don't get it as bad as him (his throat was all swollen).

Final bit of news, we admited defeat after the third consecutive month of stupidly high cell phone bills. I signed us up for a land line through Primus. It will only cost $12 a month, and we'll switch all our friends' calls over to that. I'm still keeping the cell for calling my mum, road trips and the like. We get the stuff in a week and I'll post a new number then.

Yeah, work, you know, that thing I used to do that kept me from being on the phone all day gabbing with friends ;)
