firefred has been sharing all sorts of music through his journal lately and I'm feeling all inspired to do the same. This is mostly for him, but in case anyone else is mildly curious as to what other non-mainstream music I'm listening to, feel free to have a sample. The object of the game here is to expose people to stuff they may not have heard before, so I'm not posting my Britney Spears or Shakira stuff (not kidding, I totally do listen to that too). Interestingly, I found most of this stuff via the wonders of "find other files on this user's computer" button in Napster, and bought more CDs in my Napster days than I have before or since. Take that RIAA.

cool! Thanks for the link -- I really need to start finding some new stuff to listen too. Neat site that you're useing to share these too -- I'll have to check it out, see if I can get into this game too! And I totally agree with you, I too have stopped buying CDs, which I did more of when I could download from Napster than I have before or since!!
