norsegirlNot feeling terribly motivated today. It's Friday, the weather sucks, I'd rather be home. I've got a couple of things due today. Got the first one off my desk just now. About to tackle the second. Then there's a personal tax return and 3 months of data entry and a GST return (related to yesterday's iceberg) and I can go home. This is the last day of "busy season" for us, so as of tonight, no more forced 45 hour weeks (that's billable hours, not hours in the office). Of course stupid CA training starts Monday, so I'll still be putting in stupid hours, just all the excess at home and for no pay - whoopee!
Last night we had sushi for dinner, and the dogs got bones to keep them happy. The early evening consisted of naps on the couch with the beagles chewing away happily at our feet. Got up in the middle of the night and had a very successful session of bead making while Jason played Jade Empire. Didn't manage to get them photographed and put online though since I'd killed all the batteries for the camera and forgot to recharge them - whoops. There's just one bead on the strand right now that I'd really like to replace. I've culled most of the rejects and still have enough to make a respectable show. I'll probably make the replacement tonight, get it strung so I can show it off at the event tomorrow, and then spend the rest of my beading time working on a new project - pressies for friends. If you have any requests, now's the time to speak y'all.
