New James Bond chosen Oh say it ain't so! Never heard of him, pictures here Pay special attention to the last set on the page, where, just by standing next to him, he manages to make Tom Hanks look sexy!?!?! That's about the only thing I can conclude... they're making James Bond so ordinary that when the lights come up and we look to the man next to us, we are so overcome with passion and lust that we have to take him home and ravish him right now. Yeah, it's a plot to get the average Joes laid. Please tell me that's what it is.

At least they didn't manage to make that Superman movie with Nick Cage, that would have spoiled the whole movie genre for me. And it's not like the last few Bond films didn't suck anyway, despite the great casting, so I'm not expecting much.

In other news, Anna seems almost completely healed. No more howling and drama queen antics. She's still marking the house - which is irksome and has lead to a LOT of laundry. My torch STILL isn't in, so no glass for me. I at least looked at the assignments for the first time last night, so I have some notion of what is expected of me. I will endeavour to meet the minimum requirement to get this course done this weekend. SCA meeting tonight inconveniently sucking my time, but did give me an excuse to drive to work, which is a nice treat. Actually got in on time today, but that has been no help at all as I have spent all morning reading news sites, so I might as well not be here for all the time I can book (12 minutes so far - wheee). No more news at this end.
