While on some level I appreciate my co-worker's efforts to introduce me to "good country music" and make me a proper Albertan, I have to say I am proud to be Ontarian, and a city-mouse, and I am simply not going to adapt well to this. Can we please stop the cavalcade of whine from the other side of the desk divider? Must find some Marilyn Manson to overpower the bad, bad music.

While I understand her loathing of my music, I really wish she would take into consideration my shared feelings on her music. No, I DO NOT want to hear the 5 o'clock "go home song" and it's not just because I'm an accountant and don't get to "go home" at 5pm. Not that I'm not real sore about that too.

And why isn't "snarly" a mood. So many moods, so few that LJ captures.

I'm eating beans, I'll make my own music - muhahahaha. Yes, disgusting, but it's behind the cut and I just couldn't resist saying it</lj-cut)

might i suggest streaming audio and a set of headphones? a small set of desktop speakers you can plug said headphones into won't be expensive. silences her music in your head, surrounds you with your own, and sends the big "I'm Not Listening, La La La La" message to all and sundry :)

The only country I like is cowboy music, which tends to be less with the whining.

I second the earphones suggestion.

If she's listening to the radio... make a request for her!
