Is it just me, or do you also feel entitled to your ENTIRE seat on a bus ride? I don't expect to get sat on, I don't like getting sat on, and I really wish larger people would understand that just because they are big, I shouldn't be pressed into a corner in a bizzare, back-wrenching c-shape because they can't spill into the aisle a little, or stand. When I sit next to people on the outside, even though I am small, I try to get at least a little butt-cheek into the aisle to give them their space. I suppose making the seats the size of at least the average North American would help too.

I totally understand the seats are made for waifs, really, I do. But this morning, I got sat on. I did manage to wriggle my leg out form under her mostly, but I happened to have chosen a seat with no leg-room, so my feet had to stay behind. Then, to add insult to injury, this woman proceeded to pull out a magazine and read it with her elbow in my lap. So there I was, twisted and contorted around this complete stranger. I kept shifting and wriggling in an attempt to straighten my back up, but I really needed one or two more inches, or a way to get my feet under me. When she got of the bus, I looked down, and sure enough, I'd been sitting on maybe 3/4 of a seat, against a wall. I can't wait to go home, lie down and have Jason fix my back, soooo contorted...
