Interestingly, I don't actually want to do everything on this list. I'm pretty sure none of us want to break a bone for example, nor do I necessarily want to watch someone die (though I must admit I've come close with some of my exes). And there are some significant things that I do want to do that aren't on that list, or that I've already done that I found significant. Here's my additions to the bucket list:
(x) seen an active volcano
(x) been to the Rockies
(x) been to Windsor Castle
( ) seen the Queen
( ) sat in a natural hot springs (I'm not counting the spring-fed concrete pools at Miette, Banff and the like)
(x) seen the while cliffs of Dover (and had a chalk fight with my sister there)
(x) visited the Smithsonian
( ) visited the pyramids at Giza
( ) visited all 6 of the populated continents (I'll take a pass on Antarctica thanks. So far I've done Australia, Asia, North America and Europe. South America and Africa left to go)
( ) met someone famous whom you admire and been cool enough to simply say "I love your work and it was an honour to meet you" and NOT ask for an autograph. (I think asking celebs for autographs is tacky anywhere other than in a setting where autographs are "expected". If you encounter the celeb somewhere like spring training for baseball players, or book signings, appearances at conventions or other "staged" autographing opportunities where it would be odd to work your way up the line and not ask for one, go for it. But if you run into them in a shop or a restaurant or on vacation, let them have a life.)

(x) paid a bill, cooked and cleaned up after a perfect meal, done a load of laundry without wrecking something and lived within my means
