One week old

norsegirlYesterday Georgia was one week old. She's perking up nicely. I assume she's also getting less yellow, but being around her all the time and it being a gradual change we're not really able to notice it. We celebrated her one week birthday by going out for our first restaurant meal with her. We decided to hit an Ethiopian restaurant with Lauren, Kristi, Greg and Rhonda. It was sensational as always, and the weather was even perfect for eating outside on the patio.
In other news, I'm on my second load of need to do laundry since she's come home because we keep running out of receiving blankets. Considering we've only been home for about half of that one week I have come to the realization that we have a woefully inadequate supply of this particular item. Lauren and Kristi are planning on leaving tomorrow in the early afternoon, so I guess I will spend the late afternoon making more of these things.
Anyway, morning pain pill is taken now, so back to bed for a few more hours.
