Went shopping for new bras this morning since I'm getting a rather unfortunate double-bubble effect from all my old ones. I'm not up to a 36B it seems. Not nearly as impressive as I'd hoped, and I'm rather bummed that the rib cage has increased as well as the cup. Also am up to a large in sports bras - bleh. Only bought 2 normal bras (one black, one "natural", as if anyone's skin tone is ever that colour) and 4 sports bras because I figured the sports ones would be likely to fit longer. One of them even zips at the front so it will make an okay nursing bra in a pinch. I'm wearing a bra again for the first time in weeks and I have to say it actually feels good. This from someone who is accustomed to and usually quite comfortable going braless. Hopefully this investment will get me through to the end. I'm getting tired of spending more money every few weeks on clothes I don't even really like just because nothing fits.

Jason is home from work again today because of the flu. I'm really hoping I don't catch it, but there's not a whole lot I can do about it other than hope.

My rib cage size went way up during pregnancy. I made do with one of those bra extenders (extra hook & eye thingies) for the last month or two. If you can avoid it, you're better off buying some good nursing bras a few months postpartum, once your ribcage has gone in again. I got two nursing bras & two nursing tanks for the first weeks, and I only still use the tanks now.

The plan is to buy some nursing appropriate bras after birth, but with the slight increase in cup size I really needed something new to get me to that point without my boobs making a run for my waist. The old bras were looking terrible, and I won't even mention how uncomfortable they were.
