Wrapping up

It's hard to believe that in 5 weeks my husband will be off to Austin without me. It also struck me when I looked at the calendar that I may only be without him a little under three weeks if I leave at the end of October! That's not long at all! Just nine more weeks here. And a mere 9 weekends left to accomplish stuff. So of course I've already booked stuff for many of them...
1. Labour day weekend - helping Scott move
2. Harvest Feast - last Avacal event for me for sure
3. Eskimos game with Scott on Saturday
4. Survey of household goods on Friday, Beagle Paws reunion on Sunday
5. E-ville game in Spokane (I might bow out of this one due to time constraints, we'll see)
6. Leave for Austin on Saturday
7. Thanksgiving, return from Austin on Tuesday
8. Free
9. Free maybe, see below
10. Pack/move on Monday/Tuesday (or maybe the number 9 weekend if I stay working) Friday turn in the apartment keys, get inspected, not get any security deposit back. Saturday, drive to Austin or put doggies in kennel and move in with Una.
All this crap to do and I've left myself 1 free weekend, maybe two if I bail out on the roller derby - yikes!
In other news, the puppy won't let us sleep. We went to bed last night after midnight and she was crying to get out of her cage at maybe 4am. The new puppy needs to find its forever home ASAP.
I was up late last night looking at houses in Austin. There's so many to look at that the choice is almost overwhelming. It doesn't look like there's a lot of new builds, so we'll probably end up having to do some work on the place. We've found one that looks just lovely though. Backs on to a school, hardwood floors, deck and hot tub and lovely back yard. Only 3 bedrooms (no basements anywhere in Austin) but I think we could make it work. It's also got low taxes and the price would let us live comfortably even if by some twist of fate I didn't manage to land a job. It's not even been on the market two weeks though, so it might sell before we get there. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Both for it still being on the market and for it being good in person :)
