Oh heavens no. That patio took 2 skilled Mexican masons a week of full time work. I have many skillz but masonry is not one of them. It had to be attached to an existing patio in such a way that it wouldn't crack later, and had to be level and the stones had to interlock and I know my limits.
My contributions to the yard were painting the fence (any idiot can paint a fence so I'm not paying some other idiot while I sit on my hands doing nothing all day), finding the right guy for the job (plans, plants and patio were all his doing) and convincing Jason that this was a good use of his hard-earned money.
