I've only had one stranger ask, seemingly out of the blue whether I was breastfeeding or not. At the time I couldn't figure out why, but then she explained that they had security cameras that broadcast at the front counter, and when I mentioned off-handedly that she was being well behaved because I'd recently fed her the woman was worried that I might have been on display. I'd actually noticed the camera and sat under it so it couldn't catch me. Or at least I think I was positioned well. If I wasn't *shrugs* not like I care.
