Stroller etiquette

Depends on context. If they're moving the stroller because they are trying to amuse your baby, that is not cool. If they are moving it because they are thinking of buying one and want to test your wheels without first being invited to do so, not cool. If you are standing right there and they move it instead of asking you to, not cool, but not the end of the world either. If they bump it while trying to squeeze past, no harm, no foul. If I've left it completely barricading the oranges in the grocery store and I'm turned the other way choosing onions so they have no way to catch my eye or know whose stroller it is and they move it 6 inches so they can continue with their shopping, it's my fault for leaving the stroller in their way and grocery stores are crowded and full of people just trying to get in and out, so it doesn't bother me.

A big part of my cool and not-coolness is based on potential risk to my child. If a stranger pushes my child more than 2 feet for example, there is a slight risk that they might be trying to take my child, or might push them into a dangerous situation. If the stroller is in their way and they move it a foot, well strollers are designed to roll, so how much damage can they do in 12 little inches?

On the other hand physical skin to skin contact carries the risk of germs, so that's why I'm not cool with it unless I really like the person.
