Inspired by real_jayde I decided to go jogging this morning. Made it all the way around the block, and I haven't run since I left Edmonton. In fact I think the last time I ran I was still working at City Hall, so some time early last summer. It felt good. I might try to do this every day until I get up to waddling or the weather gets too hot.
I meant to go further, but I passed a new excavation with all kinds of lovely rocks I could steal to edge my flower beds at the front and I couldn't resist stealing them, and then bringing back a bucket so I could steal more. Jason and I made 3 trips altogether and we got about 1/3 of our bed edged. I also had Jason collect some pebbles to line the bottom of my containers and got my tropical flowers planted up. And finally we dropped the hibiscus tree in to finish off the front bed. It's all really coming together. I'll take a pic as soon as we get the last of the rocks in and it's a little sunnier (still rather dreary today after yesterday's torrential rain).
On to making curtains now.
