Sep. 19th, 2005 02:24 pmMy journal has been pretty light reading lately, in that it has consisted mainly of fluffy memesheepness and very little original content. To be fair, I did try to remedy the situation last week. Wrote a whole entry, posted it, saw it online, came back later to find nothing but a title and the mood left standing. First time for everything eh?
So what have I been up to?
The summary of the last devoured post was:
- Thank-you cards still not done. A mere two cards away from finishing Jason's side though, so I am making progress
- Falling further and further behind at work
- Also rather behind on laundry. Been keeping up with Jason's stuff and SCA stuff, but my stuff is piling up.
- Got sucked in to World of Warcraft, which explains the above
Update on this past weekend:
- Wasted 95% of the weekend on WoW - Character Evja on Earthen Ring, level 21 Undead Warlock. Come play with me! Evja is a sort-of Norse version of Eve. Pronounced "Ayfya", it's the closest I could get. Thinking of documenting a Norse name for myself for the SCA.
- Finished a single load of delicate laundry for myself. First such load since before Pennsic (I know this because much of it was still all nicely folded from being in the laundry bag in my suitcase). Already wearing it today, which is why it had to be done last night.
- Failed to walk or maintain the dogs - did their ears this morning before work, despite Lizzy's attempts to avoid me and the squirt bottle of ear-drenching doom.
- Failed to make a nutritious meal even once this weekend. Also failed to get dressed before 9pm on Saturday and failed entirely to do so on Sunday.
- Attended a housewarming party Saturday night. Made a fashionably late apearance and only had to stay 2 hours - I'm just not much of a "party" person. Either give me a dark club and a dance floor or an intimate gathering of a small group of friends. I HATE trying to carry on a conversation in a room so full it's standing room only. I just can't concentrate and wind up feeling uncomfortable or bored. That and WoW was calling.
Still to do:
Finish the elastic on Fenrick's pants and get them out of my studio
Finish the thank-you cards and get them mailed
Sweep, dust, vacuum and clean bathrooms
Make Jason a new pouch - his old one is just eeeewwwww
Get started on that damn course, the same one that's been hanging over my head since I started LJ last year.
That about sums it up.
