One down, 5 to go
Jul. 22nd, 2005 03:10 pmLike the subject line says. I've passed module 1, now on to modules 2-6.
Unfortunately, I somehow managed to get a "marginal competency" (which is like getting a D) on the case-writing part of the exam. I went to a school for case-writting forgodssake! There's something squirrelly with the way they mark these things or I was REALLY sick that day. Either way, it's not like I get to learn from the experience and improve for next time since they don't give them back. In a few weeks I will supposedly get some kind of feedback, but even if it is helpful feedback, what is the chance I'll actually remember what I wrote a month earlier, especially when I've been to Pennsic in the interim? In other words, how useful can it possibly be without having a chance to see my work again? Or, in yet more words, how is this a learning experience? Oh right, silly me, it's not a learning experience at all, it's a cash grab marginally disguised as a learning experience.
I hate CASB.
