Stupid CASB
May. 6th, 2005 11:30 pmSo I've started on my official CA training out here in Alberta. I have an assignment due every week for the next ten weeks and then an exam at the end of it. I've also been a little procrastinator when it comes to the last required university course, so I'll be trying to squeeze that in to the next 7 weeks. And of course I have to work full time as well. The next couple months are going to SUCK!
I had to skip out on work today to get my assignment completed. It was due at midnight and I *just* handed it in. Not exactly breaking old habits so far. To be fair, they didn't assign it until Monday and they expected it by Friday, while I'm working full time. I just can't bring myself to work when I get home after a long day. I plan on spending the rest of the weekend trying to get ahead so I don't have to do anything on my courses during the week (I'm just not a during the week person). Next weekend they have us for all-day in-class sessions (Friday to Sunday) so I really need to get ahead this weekend. No bead work for me.
I don't like that I'm going to have to give up my weekends for pretty much the next two years while I'm completing this thing, but I can't see any other reasonable way to do this. I'm going to be really happy when it's all over.
