I know one can freeze baked goods, but I find they often taste a little "freezery" when one does that. For something like muffins to take to work, that's okay because it's a convenience thing. For a treat like cupcakes I like them to be as fresh as possible so I get full enjoyment. If I'm going to be taking on the empty calories it had better be worth it.

Cookies are the only treat that I feel doesn't suffer from freezing, so those I will make and freeze no prob. Speaking of which, almost time to start on Christmas baking. Where has the year gone eh?
