I'm just feeling the viking thing or the Roman thing more than the Tudor thing lately. I understand that completely- we're doing a Norse event the weekend after Coronation and I just can't get up the enthusiasm to make anything new for it (I'll be wearing a generic Norse tunic that's in my garb stash). For the past few years, early period just doesn't feel 'right' for me and I don't feel nearly as comfortable in my earlier stuff as I do in my shinrones.
Hmm, I've never heard of that pattern before- is there a picture online somewhere of it? It sounds interesting, and I don't think anything like it was used as examples of clothing in our event 'prep' meetings.
