i can actually distinguish the blue in the larger shot. it does seem to disappear in the close up. i really like the way you have palyed and balanced the colours. very sophisticated. i'm sure she will be veyr appreciative (and likely ask after you). i am a littel curious as to why you think it busy. i usually associate busy with confusing to the eye. you have a lot going on, but given the media- it has a structure and order that i find non-distracting. in fact, it's kind of neat to have the centre pattern of white turn into an intricate detail when looking at it close up. from a goodly distance, it will balance the outer two lines and merely seem a different width. i though that was a very nice touch.
