I hadn't decided on handles yet. It is small enough that it probably doesn't need them. There's a little clearance on the bottom where you can easily get your fingers under it, and it's not a terribly large box so I can't imagine it getting too heavy to lift unless you filled it with lead or coins. No handles would mean easier packing and stacking. Handles are pretty, but they also can catch clothing. I could go with rope handles, but I'm not sure those are the most practical. The other option that wouldn't add bulk is to cut handle slots into the side, but then you have the problem of things being able to fall out.

At this point I'm thinking no handles, but that could certainly be revisited down the road.
