Pregnancy weight gain
http://www.indiacurry.com/women/pregcalc.htm
Above is a link to a pregnancy weight gain calculator. I'm on week 22 and my morning weigh-in seems to be putting me anywhere in the 140-141 range. This is a bit odd. When I found out I was pregnant, it was the holidays and I weighed in at a whopping 142. I quickly shed the holiday pounds and got back to my Texas move weight of 135ish, not through doing anything intentional, just from not eating all the rich food and desserts. If I assume my pre-pregnancy weight was 135, I should be over 145 by now. Also, I'm pretty sure I've been at 140 for almost a month now. And I only got that far because my sister visited and we ate chips and dip and crap for a solid week (gained like 2 or 3 lbs in a week).
I haven't really changed my diet that much since what I ate before I found out. I've cut out raw fish and booze (not that I had more than one drink a week anyway). Honestly, I think I've noticed the lack of raw fish more than the lack of alcohol. And other than yesterday's really short jog, I haven't done anything really physical either. I think I might have ridden my bike once in January, but that's it. Not enough to affect any weight loss anyway.
I'm sure the baby is just fine (still kicking the crap out of me from inside), and my shape is certainly changing (it's amazing how much of my wardrobe I can't wear any more), it's just something odd and worthy of note.
I wonder...
a) how much I will gain over this pregnancy
b) how I will look right after giving birth
c) what size and shape I'll be when I'm back to "normal"
