It's 5am - why am I here?

norsegirlIt's 5am - why am I here and not in bed? Didn't go to sleep until 11 last night, so it's not like I got a full night and woke up naturally. I was dreaming of elephant ears with cinnamon sugar on them, so I woke up at 4am with a CRAVING for cinnamon sugar. At 4:45 or so I gave up on the tossing and turning and got up to make myself some cinnamon toast. I'm sitting here yawning. I know I'm tired, but I also know that my mind is spinning with all the stuff I have to get done today, and I'm still a bit hungry.
After I posted last I was completely useless for the rest of the day - go figure. All I did was hit Ikea and purchase the new dining set. Didn't get it assembled as planned, but got it in the door, so that's a start.
Yesterday was fairly busy for me. Vacuumed the stairs (that's a job that sucks without a stair attachment. Need to look into whether one is available for my model of vacuum, which is perfect in every other way), vacuumed and mopped the kitchen and bathrooms, moved all the old table and chairs into the kitchen, where they are much better proportioned to the space, and assembled 8 dining room chairs most of the way.
Guest room:
* Vacuum
* Make bed
* Hang painting and mirror
* Install curtain rod
* Purchase black-out fabric Not done but have decided it is not necessary
* Make curtain - almost done, just need to hem it.
Living/Dining
* Straighten and tidy
* Vacuum
* Purchase and assemble new dining room set
* Install curtain rods and hang curtains
Kitchen
* Clean dishes
* Tidy
* Mop floor
* Refinish and hang spice cabinet
Bathrooms
* Mop floors
* Fix the leak in the shower head
* Hang up guest towels
* Clean my bathroom
* Install the "frosting" film on the glass in my bathroom
My bedroom
* Make and hang the curtains
* Tidy
* Vacuum
Miscellaneous
* Finish weeding the yard
* Put away the camping futon and tent
* Vacuum the game room,upstairs hall and stairs
Still a lot left on the list and not that many items checked-off despite all the work I put in yesterday. Hopefully today will strike more things. It better, after all, I'm starting at 5am - sigh.
