My first purchase, the thing that opened the floodgates. A norse toiletry set. Sold by a laurel who had lovely documentation for every item she sold. I highly recommend the Treasury as a merchant. Interestingly her booth didn't catch my eye at all, but after taking her class I was compelled to come and look at her wares. So many beautiful things. I was very good to only buy one.

Close up of the ear spoon, tweezers and toothpick.

Some totally modern beads purchased from a lampworker on site. The bones are a charming shape I want to try myself, while the larger focal was purchased because of the absolutely gorgeous stringer work and the subtlety of the colours in the reaction. The picture doesn't do that particular glass justice. It's just amazing and I had to have one. No idea what I'll do with it.

The inkle loom that kept me busy on the way home. Relatively inexpensive, and a brilliant little design that's easy to travel with. It's nice to have an inkle I can use in the car, and I've wanted a car-friendly loom for ages. Nicer still that it makes 5 feet of trim, which is about the minimum you can make and still be useful. Also picked up the lovely wool that is currently strung up on it. It will be interesting to see if it's colour-fast and how much it shrinks.

Finally, we picked up a pair of really cute mugs that reminded us of our beagles coursing

The only item I had planned on purchasing before I arrived on site was the lovely furry hat that I haven't pulled out of the closet to photograph yet (it's being kept in a place behind two sets of doors and on a high shelf so the doggies don't eat it). I also picked up a yummy book, which of course I overpaid for in my eagerness to have it now *shrug*. At least I didn't go crazy and buy a bunch of books at inflated prices. Not that there wasn't plenty of temptation. I also picked up a sweet little bench box thingy that I used as a bed-side table, and which comes apart to stack flat. And of course I purchased some cheap linen. Can you ever really say no to cheap linen? In retrospect I should have picked up a bit more of said linen to use as baby slings. Ah well, can't go back and get it now. I also replenished my supply of Blackberry Sage perfume from the Perfumed Dragon when I discovered it eased the nausea. And my final little purchase was some nifty hand-made chai lip balm. Very yummy.

I managed to resist the lure of the amber, recreation pins, socks and baskets from the basket guy. It's scary to think how much more I could have spent. The shopping was soooooooo good.
