Snuggle beagle

norsegirlBrought my laptop upstairs this morning so I could check mail and LJ from bed. Invited the Anna up to sit with me. She is curled up exactly where I invited her (no attempts to take over the bed or overstep her bounds) and just the most contented picture of cuteness. Lizzy is curled up in her doggie bed on the floor. It's just a house full of happy.
I have to break the peace though because it's time to get out of bed and finish cleaning for houseguests. The spare room is almost ready at least. Just a quick vacuum and set up the bed, no biggie. Then on to the kitchen and maybe the livingroom if I find the time. Not too concerned. If the place is a disaster it's not as if Mona will spend much time here doing anything but sleeping anyway. As long as there's a bed all will be good.
Still, very, very hard to leave my snuggle beagle - sigh.
